| Module content | This module introduces the principles and practice of teaching and learning English as a home or an additional language. A theoretical underpinning strengthens students’ understanding of language development. Students are also guided in the theory of instructional design as they practise planning, designing and presenting optimal learning opportunities. Students are familiarised with the principles contained in the NCS and CAPS.
